the staff were friendly from arrival to departure. the room had excellent temperature control and cleanliness. i found the hospitality tray lovely with biscuits and chocolate. the bathroom included soft towels, robes, and toiletries.
i noticed a few stains on the carpet, though minor.

The hotel's location near Derriford Hospital was convenient for my vendor visit. I found ample parking available. Early breakfast from 6:30 am was useful. The room was spacious. The price was very reasonable.
The thermostat in my room didn't work. It got very hot at night.

The room was warm. I expected the air conditioning to work, but it seemed to be disabled. The lack of a fridge in the room was also a problem, I needed somewhere to keep drinks cold. The television offered a limited channel selection, below my expectations.

the hotel seemed understaffed at times . i waited an unreasonable amount of time to be seated for dinner one evening. the food menu was also limited with several items unavailable affecting my dining experience.
